News, News and News!

I've been meaning to update this for a while now and I am just now doing it. I am going to do better, I promise!

As for Elder Johnson, he has told me that he has had one baptism! He gave the baptismal talk and his companion did the baptizing. Also, another family he taught in his last area is getting baptized too! He is going to attend that one as well, but I don't think he is doing anything...

One thing I asked him in his last letter I sent him was if there was anything he wants me to put on here. His answer: my testimony. So here it goes...this could go on forever so I'm going to give you the simplified version. If you'd like the whole thing just email me or something...

I know with every fiber of that this Gospel is true. I know that my Savior, Jesus Christ, atoned for my sins. I know that if I sincerely repent I can take advantage of the atonement and return to live with my Heavenly Father and family for eternity. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are real. I know that they love me. I know that Jospeh Smith was a prophet and restored the church. I am so greatful that he was willing to go through those trials and tests to restore the Church. I know that President Monson is our Prophet today and that he receives revelation from God today. I don't know many things but what I do know, I know. I know that I am a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father and I have a Savior, a brother, who loves me enough to die for me so I can return to my Heavenly Father. Like I said before, I know that the Gospel is true and I am eternally grateful that I have it in my life.

Update

Just so you fellow readers know...Sjon is alive. I haven't really heard any news from him other than:

-He got transferred
-He may have had a baptism

I am currently waiting for a letter that I should be getting from him this week with LOADS of information....I asked him a ton of questions the last letter.

Transfer!

I'm slacking at this blog thing...and I apologize. Sjon has written me two letters and I am just now getting around to updating this. Anyways...

Sjon had his first transfer! He is now in Fairfax! He misses his investigators he had in his first area (a pastor and his family and the Gretz family. His new companion is Elder Rothmun (I think thats how he spelled it...) He is apparently beast at basketball. Other than that he didn't say much in his letter. I will have pictures as soon as Ian sends me them! Until next time...

Serving and Loving It!

Hey, Krystle again! This morning I was woken up to my phone ringing. Guess who it was. Yep, it was Elder Sjon Johnson! He is doing great! I got to talk to him for about an hour! He is enjoying his time in Virgina, even though he has only been there for a little over a week. He said the area he is in is one of the wealthiest areas and they have the largest mall. He really likes his companion (He didn't tell me his name). I will be getting a letter from him sometime this week with more information!

As I noted before PLEASE write him! He loves to get letters. So far my family is the only one writing him, so please make his day and write him a letter :) Here is his address again:

And He is off...almost!

Hi everyone! In case you didn't know, Sjon has asked me (Krystle) to keep up his blog while he is gone the next two years. I don't have any photos from him yet. His first companion in the MTC was Elder Smallcomb. Sjon said that he is about the same height as Ian and eats just as much! He leaves on Wednesday around 4:00 A.M. for Washington D.C.! He would love to receive letters, so please write him! He said while he has been at the MTC he has run into a few friends. He has seen Nathan Scovil and one of his home school friends! He said that he has been learning lots while at the MTC but can't wait to get out into the mission field!
